What are charges and what happens with the money? All of negotiated sales price goes to seller of the copy. On top of sales price, artist or their representative who submitted original music file gets 10% commission of sales price, unless sales price is less than $2, in which case artist gets a flat commission of $0.20. Additionally, a processing charge of 15% of sales price is charged, unless sales price is less than $7, in which case a flat fee of $2 is charged which includes the artist's commission.
PayPal charges vary depending on currencies of seller, buyer and artist. Minimum PayPal charge is $0.36. Maximum PayPal charges may be greater than 10% if international currency conversion is involved.
